No Dirty Rubbish !

Saw something funny today that I thought I'd share with you.

I had just bought my lunch of kebab from N'Zar Bakery in Pusanika, and was walking back to my hostel when I came across this:

A sticker on the lid of a trash can @.@

I literally took a double take and walked back towards it to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me ! =.=

Well, I guess I understand 'wet' rubbish -- they don't want it to smell and get sticky and icky.

But DIRTY rubbish??

I had no idea we had CLEAN rubbish !!

It's rubbish, for goodness' sake. Things people throw away.

I guess this dustbin must be the high-class one.

Only DRY and CLEAN rubbish allowed !!!! @.@

Weird.

LOOL @ this post!! :D but you know what, you're right. malaysian english is actually pretty appalling. which is strange because i figured being quite metropolitan and urban and all... our language level would actually be decent.

guess not, eh.

RC: thank you for actually taking the time to read my post and comment. even though death is a really sad thing, for some reason, i'm always more affected when i know of a young person's passing. i guess more than anything, i just feel sorry. like, it's such a waste for them to go because their lives have barely begun. i don't know where they get the courage to take their own lives but i wish that that courage would be channeled into facing/talking their true loved ones (i.e. family and friends) instead.

I found that that post of yours struck a chord with me. I have such thoughts about death and suicide as well, but I just never had the courage, nor the capability of putting it so beautifully in words, as you did in your post. To read your words, I just felt really moved. I just HAD to comment :)

It's devastating that our world has come to this, and I wonder if there's anything we can do to change how people view the world. T.T
